a small workshop venue for your workshop or retreat set in a creative and relaxing environment

Testimonials

Many groups have enjoyed our unique small workshop venue. A few of their glowing references are given below.

It is always a delight to hold our training workshops here at A Place To Just Be, in such a beautiful, natural and creative space.

The gardens, ponds and sculptures offer a setting that helps you unwind when you step through the gate, and Bettye the owner is a wonderful lady who keeps everything running smoothly.  I highly recommend this secret gem of a venue!

Bria Ryder, Body Intelligence (at A Place To Just Be regularly since 2013)

I have been privileged to use A Place to Just Be for numerous adult workshops, seminars and retreats over the past 10 years.
My work is framed around the facilitation of non-violent processes such as OpenSpaceTechnology,Restorative Justice, Creative Conflict, Non-violent Communication and the Spirit of Leadership.
The many participants in these programs, and myself as facilitator, have benefited enormously from working in such an exquisitely beautiful environment, conducive to the inspirational co-learning that occurs when a loving space is provided.  I look forward to continuing my work in this sacred garden.

It is a highly recommended venue where we hold our trainings of between 15 and 25 men at any time.
We have an ongoing group meeting there once weekly for 40 weeks of the year and Bettye has always made us feel welcome.
As the Community Director of The Mankind Project, I personally feel at home in this facility.

A lot of love and attention has gone into creating a lush and tranquil environment in a busy urban setting.
Several workspaces are dotted in an art-scape that suits a range of activities and groups.
It is always welcoming and peaceful, plus it has a tearoom that is divine.
A unique place to just Be.

“It is for the second time we really enjoyed our course at A Place To Just Be. Equipped with all necessities to facilitate the group in tranquil settings of a beautiful garden, easily accessible and ample parking not being the least. The unique secret garden atmosphere with many artistic elements around the place was in harmony with our workshops of the Peter Hess ® Sound Massage. Our students enjoyed the venue just as much as we did. We found also that the kitchen /dining room facility was conducive to pleasant breaks during the day. We are convinced that A Place to Just Be is very suitable for our workshops with sound and we hope to be returning on regular basis.” Alex Andrzejewski, Maranta Sound Academy

It was so lovely to have the Conscious Pregnancy Course at your co-creation of A Place to Just Be. It really is a wonderful gift you share with the community so they may explore the depths of self in a nurturing environment.
Peace to you, Simone
